The Just the Ticket Luggage Tag - Time for a Giveaway!

Michelle Burke

My latest pattern, the Just the Ticket Luggage Tag has been available for just over a week, so it must be time for a giveaway!  First though, I want to share some of my testers' beautiful creations.

Marilyn of Shades of Bold, made this beautiful Just the Ticket Luggage Tag.  I love the fabric she used.  Marilyn used some 10" squares from a layer cake to make her luggage tag.  She had to change the way she cut the fabric for the strap to make it work.  She wrote about testing the Just the Ticket Luggage Tag pattern and how she cut the fabric for the strap in a blog post.

You can see how a business card fits perfectly in the vinyl pocket of the Just the Ticket Luggage Tag.

This pretty and colorful Just the Ticket Luggage Tag that Paula made would be easy to find in a mass of black luggage!  The multi-color stripes make this tag look like it is ready to be used for a tropical get-away.  Doesn't it remind you of a beautiful sunset, on the beach with the turquoise ocean at your feet and . . . okay I'm dreaming now, but if I were going on a beach vacation, this is the luggage tag I would want to put on my luggage!

Paula was so sweet to make this custom card to go in the vinyl pocket of her Just the Ticket Luggage Tag.  It is a perfect match with the fabric she used!

Carolyn made one Just the Ticket Luggage Tag to test the pattern, but she didn't stop there, she decided they would make great Christmas gifts!  Carolyn's family members are big University of Iowa Hawkeye fans, so she made several using Hawkeye fabric.  She also made a Disney princess luggage tag and a tropical themed luggage tag.  Carolyn said, "Wow, thanks for the pattern!  It is easy, fun and fast and I like to cut 4 of them out at once, then just assembly line sew them."  I'm sure Carolyn's family will love getting her Just the Ticket Luggage Tags for Christmas gifts this year!

You can purchase the Just the Ticket Luggage Tag pattern from Craftsy or from my Etsy shop.  How much fun it would be to make one for everyone on your Christmas list and one for yourself as well!

And now about the giveaway!  If you would like to win a Just the Ticket Luggage Tag pattern and/or an already-made Just the Ticket Luggage Tag, go to my Uniquely Michelle Facebook Page and comment on the post for the contest.  Make sure you tell me in your comment whether you would like to win the pattern, the luggage tag, or both!  This contest will run until Sunday, December 13th at 5:00pm MST when I will draw one winner for each prize.  Good Luck!
